Nell'ottobre del 2013 il misterioso street artist Banksy annuncia di voler passare un mese a New York e di creare un'opera al giorno in ognuno dei quartieri della città. Il docu racconta il tumulto generato dalla sua dichiarazione mentre la telecamera lo insegue per le vie della Grande Mela, ritraendo il fenomeno di costume che si è costruito attorno a lui, la lotta totale per difendere l'anonimato, la sua resistenza al pop e al mainstream.

In October 2013, the mysterious street artist Banksy announces his intention to spend a month in New York and create a work every day in each of the city's districts. The documentary tells the turmoil generated by his statement while the camera follows him on the streets of the Great Apple, portraying the disguised phenomenon that he has built around him, the total struggle to defend anonymity, his resistance to pop and mainstream.

La regista Maura Axelrod è riuscita nella non facile impresa di raccontare la vita e la straordinaria carriera di una delle personalità più geniali, irriverenti e provocatorie del nostro tempo: Maurizio Cattelan. Sovvertendo i meccanismi di potere sottesi all'arte e alla politica, Cattelan crocifigge galleristi, inginocchia dittatori e abbatte papi con un meteorite. Nel documentario l’artista padovano viene raccontato dal critico d’arte Massimiliano Gioni, suo alter ego, ma anche da galleristi, amici, ex fidanzate e personaggi illustri del mondo dell’arte.

Director Maura Axelrod has succeeded the rare feat to tell the life and the extraordinary career of one of the most brilliant, outrageous and  provocative personalities of our time: Maurizio Cattelan. By overthrowing the power of art and politics, Cattelan crucifies gallerists, kneels down to dictators, and fires popes with a meteorite. In the documentary, the artist from Padova narrated by art critic Massimiliano Gioni, his alter ego, but also by gallerists, friends, ex-girlfriends and illustrious people of the art world.
